Resonance Suppression of a Maglev Inertially Stabilized Platform Based on an Improved Recursive Least Square Algorithm

Mechanical resonance occurs during the operation of a maglev inertially stabilized platform (MISP). The MISP is driven by motor gear and clearance changes commutation, which makes frequency variable. Conventional notch filters with constant parameters are not ideal for variable suppression. In this study, forgetting factor in recursive least squares (RLS) algorithm was improved to estimate online. By adjusting filter, proposed measures can effectively suppress dual-stage system. Finally, simulation example presented validate arguments study.
